Biography

 
My research interests are in control theory, multi-agent systems control, flexible spacecraft attitude control, formation flying and consensus problems. In my research, I have focused on the design and implementation of new nonlinear robust control algorithm on robotics systems in disturbs condition. During the past years (2012-2022), I have set up and equipped the mechatronics lab at the University of Isfahan. During this period, we have designed and manufactured a 5DOF spacecraft attitude control subsystem simulator and two delta robots. The titles of my main researches are itemized as follows. The spacecraft attitude control subsystem simulator: At first, the simulator dynamic parameters were identified and its inherent anomalies, like the eccentricity between the mass center and center of rotation, the inertia coupling terms, etc. have been modeled and nonlinear robust controllers were implemented on this plane. Another purpose was to add solar panels to test designed control algorithms on a spacecraft with flexible components. In our more recent researches, we have decided to add magnetometers and magnet torquers to test novel control allocation algorithms and reaction wheel dumping methods. 5DOF simulator: We built the 5dof simulator to test modern controller’s performance in formation flying. Delta Robot: We built two delta robots to test the robot collaborations. At first, the dynamic model has been obtained and the bearing friction has been identified as well. Because of nonlinearity in gearbox motors, unmodel-based controllers have been employed and tested. Hybrid force and position controllers have also been designed. To test designed controllers considering end-effector space, we patched accelerometers on the robot arms. In our more recent researches in this field, learning machine methods have been applied to identify the delta robot and tune controller gains. Recently, I provided ’OPENMANIPULATOR-X’ to test the robot collaborations and control learning-based algorithms. I plan to add this robot manipulator to these spacecraft simulators. Space robotics is a promising approach. In the future, I will work on aerial manipulator systems with this robot manipulator.
